Update as of November 30, 2020
Governor Gina Raimondo recently announced Rhode Island would enter into a two-week, statewide pause to try to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Part of that two-week pause is the closure of entertainment venues, including Twin River and Tiverton Casino Hotel.
For that reason, we will close at 10 pm on Sunday, November 29th, with the expectation that circumstances will allow us to reopen on Monday, December 14th at 6am.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience to you, our valued guest. That said, the State’s efforts to contain the COVID-19 virus are of critical importance and all of us at Twin River are committed to doing all we can to contribute to that goal.
Please check our website(s) often for updates on our reopening – twinriver.com and twinrivertiverton.com

PHASE 2 REOPENING GUIDELINES & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
The Highlights
Entry to the casino will require your driver’s license (or valid photo identification). It’s critically important that we reopen with strict crowd control measures in place. During this phase, we expect capacity to be limited by State capacity guidelines.
We will offer slot machines at a safe distance separated by plexiglass or at least six feet apart, and we will offer virtual/stadium table games, with limited seating capacity and live table games (excluding craps) with plexiglass dividers. Our Hotel, Fitness Center, Poker Room, Event Center, Valet, and Entertainment offerings will remain CLOSED while we reimagine ways to effectively address safety concerns in those confined spaces. Our food courts will be open with limited seating capacity and we will offer limited bar service in disposable cups.
Our daily hours of operation will be Sunday – Thursday from 6am – 10pm and Friday and Saturday from 6am – 10:30pm. Property-wide cleaning will commence daily.
Upon Your Arrival
All of the parking lots will be open as well as the North & West entrances. Valet service will not be immediately available. Please self-park and make your way to the entrance of your favorite gaming room. Please have your face mask on as they are mandatory for all guests and staff. If you are unable to bring one, one will be provided to you. Once at the entrance, you will be greeted by security staff who will conduct a non-invasive temperature check via thermal cameras. Any guest or team member with a temperature above 100.4 degrees will not be allowed entry on that day.
Team members whose responsibilities require direct contact with guests may be wearing gloves, but guests are not required to do so.
ONCE INSIDE
We encourage you to make use of the increased hand sanitizers placed at entry and exits, the casino floor and elevator landings. Sanitizing wipes will also be provided throughout the property to allow guests to clean common areas before touching.
Just as we are all doing on a daily basis, guests must practice social distancing by staying six to ten feet away from other guests. The same is true while standing in lines, using elevators, kiosks, ATMs or moving around the casino floor.
Remember, play smart and stay apart.
We have lots of new signage strategically placed throughout the property to remind you of social distancing protocols, to guide you in the event a line is forming, and the location and import of frequently using the sanitizers provided.
You might notice a lot more of our team members, including our Clean Team, on the casino floor. They are there for two important reasons: to continuously clean every nook and cranny of the casino floor, and to assist you with one-on-one guidance. Don’t hesitate to call on them with questions and concerns – we want you to have an enjoyable time while you’re with us.
Smoking, including vaping, in the casino will not be allowed. Instead, we have created outdoor areas at the North and West entrances to accommodate our guests. Please refrain from smoking in any area of the casino. You will be required to follow the same steps you followed during arrival and go through the screening process to be allowed re-entry into the casino.

BEHIND THE SCENES
We think you should know what we’re doing behind the scenes to keep you safe and healthy while you’re visiting with us.
Most of those efforts start and stop with the comprehensive training our team members have received over the last few weeks, including infectious disease and sanitation protocols to further ensure guest and team member safety. Team members have been provided instructions on responding and reporting all presumed cases of COVID-19 on property to the RI Department of Health.
Just as importantly, you are asked to contact their supervisor if you notice a coworker or guest with known symptoms of COVID-19. Team members and guests who are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 while at the property are instructed to immediately notify their manager and promptly leave the property. If we are alerted to a presumptive case of COVID-
19 on property, we will work with and follow the appropriate actions recommended by the Rhode Island Department of Health.
We have put in place a host of “back of house” protocols for our employees. The protocols include:
· Hand sanitizing stations and increased handwashing for all team members
Twin River Online Slots
· Daily screening for COVID-19 symptoms
· Mandatory masks or face shields
· Disinfecting system for cards, dice and tiles
· Cleaning and disinfecting of the casino cages, touchpoints and guest-facing areas on an ongoing basis
· Social distancing
· Enhanced educational signage
· Installment of temporary plexiglass in areas where staff have to interface with our guests
We apologize for any inconveniences that may occur from these temporary public safety measures, and we hope your enjoy your visit.

US regional casino operator Twin River Worldwide Holdings (TRWH) has picked up yet another of Caesars Entertainment’s castoffs but this time it isn’t costing the company a penny, at least, not yet.
On Tuesday, TRWH announced a deal to acquire the Tropicana Evansvillecasino operations in Indiana from Caesars for $140m. However, the deal requires no cash outlay on TRWH’s behalf, thanks to the introduction of a third party, real estate investment trust Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc (GLPI).
GLPI has agreed to acquire the land underneath the Evansville casino from Caesars for $340m — after Caesars agreed to add the real estate under two Iowa casinos to the GLPI master lease — and GLPI will then lease that land back to TRWH for an initial rate of $24m per year, subject to escalation. GLPI is also acquiring the land under TRWH’s Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Delaware casino for $144m, which will then be rented back to TRWH at $12m/year, subject to escalation.

The net effect of all this land-swapping is Caesars gets $480m in cash, TRWH gets a new casino – along with “unencumbered rights” to the casino’s sports betting and iGaming skins – without putting up any new cash, while GLPI gets two new properties that will generate combined annual revenue of $36m per year from the get-go.
The deal raises TRWH’s profile to 15 properties in 10 states, building on the flurry of acquisitions the company has made over the past few years, including the Jumer’s casino in Illinois earlier this month. It’s also the latest deal TRWH has struck involving properties that the enlarged Caesars is looking to unload following this summer’s mega-merger with Eldorado Resorts (from whom TRWH previously acquired other casinos).

TRWH CEO George Papanier said the Evansville deal was “consistent with our core strategy of acquiring strategic gaming assets at attractive valuations,” not to mention “access to an attractive Indiana gaming market,” particularly in terms of iGaming and sports betting opportunities.
The Evansville casino features a 45k-square-foot gaming floor, a race and sportsbook — powered by William Hill, with which TRWH already has a betting relationship at its Rhode Island casinos — four restaurants and 11k square-feet of convention space. The casino reported earnings of $32m in 2019, making the deal’s total consideration equal to 4.4x earnings (after factoring in the new rent payments). TRWH expects the deal to close in mid-2021, subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
